Support - SEND
At Ringshall School we believe that each and every child should be supported to 'be the best they can be' and feel valued as a member of our school community. A nurturing approach is embedded throughout the school and underlies Ringshall's curriculum drivers. We strongly believe that children need encouragement and support to help them develop as individuals and we always strive to create the best possible provision for children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).
Our SENDCo is Mrs Finch, who is also a member of the Senior Leadership Team and has completed the National SEND Award. She is responsible for ensuring that children with SEND are identified and supported within our school. She will liaise with outside agencies and plan interventions and personalised learning plans to enable every child to flourish and learn.
Mrs Finch works closely with our headteacher, Mr Gough, on our school's strategy for children with SEND.
If you have any concerns about your child's learning, progress in school or about other special needs, please do no hesitate to request a meeting. It is always good to talk to your child's class teacher first but Mrs Finch is always happy to arrange a phone call or meeting to discuss your concerns and offer support.
You can make a meeting via the school office: telephone - 01473 658307 email - firstname.lastname@example.org or you can contact her directly using the following address: email@example.com
