Support - SEND

At Ringshall School we believe that each and every child should be supported to 'be the best they can be' and feel valued as a member of our school community. A nurturing approach is embedded throughout the school and underlies Ringshall's curriculum drivers. We strongly believe that children need encouragement and support to help them develop as individuals and we always strive to create the best possible provision for children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

Currently our SENCO is Mrs Cape, who is covering the role during Mrs Finch's maternity leave. Mrs Cape is support by the Trust SENCO lead. She is responsible for ensuring that children with SEND are identified and supported within our school. She will liaise with outside agencies and plan interventions and personalised learning plans to enable every child to flourish and learn.

Mrs Cape works closely with our headteacher, Mr Gough, on our school's strategy for children with SEND.
