British Sign Language 12.05.25
Today we were visited by Emma, who taught our year 6 children British Sign Language. Emma's mother is deaf and so she became fluent in sign language as a child. She taught the children the alphabet, greetings, foods and so much more. She also spoke about what it is like living with deafness.
VE day Veteran Visitor 09.05.2025
Mrs Gooch's Grandad, Peter Norton came into school today, to share his Second World War medals and spoke to the children. The children were able to ask him lots of questions too.

Beech, Willow and Oak classes enjoyed celebrating VE Day 80th Anniversary. Thank you to everyone for the kind donations of cakes, biscuits, crisps and other treats. We all have a great time at our ‘street’ party!🎉

Sporting Master Class 06.05.25
On Tuesday 6th May we were really lucky to have a sporting masterclass session delivered by St Joseph's College in Ipswich. They brought two ex professional sports people. Cole Skuse (ex Ipswich Town football player), Maria Lutua (who played Netball 84 times for Fiji) and Mr Sharpe rugby coach at St Joseph's College.
Year 6 and Asset Arrows Trip - Hack 02.05.25
'Hack' at Dance East' where the Y6 children (and Asset Arrows) took part in discussions involving the #iwill charity. They represented the school magnificently!
